IndexAtlas Group, Moscow, Russian Federation, and New York, New York, USA, has expanded its relationship with Nordberg Capital Partners by acquiring an ownership interest in the company through IndexAtlas Private Equity Fund.

Concurrently, Novestra, a Stockholm, Sweden-based investment company, along with the Swedish capital management firms, Servisen Investment Management and Nove Capital Management, have also invested in Nordberg.

Nordberg Capital is a New York-based investment bank that for over 30 years has focused on transactions and trading in stocks listed on the Scandinavian and the Eastern European stock exchanges and has also engaged in private investments, often in companies that principally operate in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Peter Nordberg will act as President and CEO in the new organization, and the company will have representation offices in Stockholm and Moscow. The head office and the primary base for the business will remain in New York.

From March 1, 2010 IndexAtlas investment advisory and corporate finance practice will be folded into Nordberg Capital Partners and operate under Nordberg name. IndexAtlas Private Equity Fund will remain active under IndexAtlas name. Its portfolio companies include Noviy Disc, DrPlombir, Nesprosta.ru, Skate's Art Market Research and now also Nordberg Capital Partners.
